2.99 alpha preview 1: Preserve PDC delayed monitoring

Is the new "Preserve PDC delayed monitoring" option really working? I've just tried the two examples from my bug reports: Both work fine now (fixed)! Great! I thought I have to enable the "Preserve PDC delayed monitoring" setting to get it working. But obviously this setting doesn't make a difference here (means it's active all the time)!?

Just because i'm curious: PDC? Has nothing to do with Park Distance Control, the Pacific Disaster Center in Hawaii nor a Primary Domain Controller or the Professional Darts Corporation?

As the options says: having PDC active all the time (even when monitoring). I've requested this here: Now in 2.99 this works fine. But it seems to be active all the time no matter if it's enabled or not. I'm not sure if all people like it.
